“I have two strong beliefs. The first is that story transcends genre. The stories I ultimately want to tell begin with the characters, they revolve around them and their relationship with the story. The rest goes from there, regardless of a film’s setting or its pursuit of spectacle. The second is that a film should be made to be seen and a filmmaker should always have their audience in mind when confronted with any decision. It is only by understanding our audience that we can match and thrive to surpass their standards to create high quality content.”

Camille is the recipient of the 2023 BAFTA-Yugo Commissioning Grant for his latest film “To Fade Away”, which has also been awarded a Production Grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, in partnership with the Museum of the Moving Image.
